weekend fun

We had a super busy weekend. (I can't post pics yet because Erich is upstairs on the only computer with a working card reader.)

On Thursday night we went over to Gulfport to see Erich's parents and he had work to do in GP on Friday. Peyton and I hung out with his parents and went to several kids outlets and I got two shirts and an outfit for under $10. I thought that was great. Then we took Peyton to a little water pad and playground around the corner from their house. He had the whole thing to himself since it had just been raining. We decided we would go ahead and stay another night since we didn't have anything else to do.

While there Erich's boss called and invited us out onto his boat on Sat. He keeps it docked in Biloxi about 20 min. from his parents. So, after begging them to babysit for us we headed out Sat. with the boss, wife and another couple. We had the best time and met new people too. I found several shells on the deserted Ship Island and there were tons of sting rays and crabs everywhere. We all said we had never seen anything like it. We didn't get back to his parents house until after 7 and Peyton was so good for them. After two nights of no sleep because they live a block from a train track and at least 4 trains come through a night blaring their whistles, I was ready for good sleep. Not going to happen....I was a little face burned, drank too many pomegranate mojitos, pina coladas, and something else,and kept rocking up and down in my sleep like I was still on the boat, and Peyton woke up 4 times in the night. I said that to say that I should be catching up on sleep now and instead I am typing..

&*(&*%*&^* Computer

OK- I figured out the problem with my blogging skills....it is that *&*&* computer I have. I come upstairs to use Erich's computer and yes, his printer works and yes, it allows me to add a new blog to my list. Erich thinks I have virused my computer by downloading fonts, yes, I do that and adding exceptions to his anti virus software...okay, I do that too. So maybe he is correct after all....I am the problem and not the computer....In my defense, if the stupid thing would work right in the first place I wouldn't have to keep adding exceptions to the anti virus...which would in turn keep the viruses off my computer so....I am now turning the problem back to the *(^&^&*^&* computer that I have. My solution....buy another one so "I" can mess that one up too. ;)

need help adding a blot

I have tried on several occasions to add a friend's blog to my list....it won't let me add anything. Any clues as to why? I have it under my layout then blog lists, but it does not allow me to add....I am beginning to agree with erich that I need to stay away from electronics...hmm...

Too Fast

This picture of my little guy is so precious to me, but at the same time makes me want to cry. He is growing up WAY too fast. He looks like a little boy sitting on the beach, and not my little baby that he was last week. I know everyone tells me to cherish each day because it goes by in the blink of an eye, and it is so true. It makes me want to have a house full of kids so I'll always have a baby around...ok Erich won't agree to that, but I can wish. So, today I'll give him extra hugs and kisses and spend a little more time playing and videoing him, because tomorrow he'll be joining the Marines and shipping off to Kuwait.

Blog Block

I have logged on and read everyone's blogs for a while, made a few comments, but NEVER can think of anything to blog about for my own blog. I think part of it is I am uninspired by my layout. I have NO clue how to add personal things to the blog page...I just use the ones on blogspot that have already been made up. I would love to add cute fonts and have a little more creativity with my blog. But, HELP!!! How in the world do I do this? Is there something I am missing? I should have totally taken advantage of my week with Kresta. She could have had me transformed and taught in no time. I am begging for any help in improving my blog so I can get past my blog block.

No Digi Scrapper

Okay, so I am no digi scrapper, but here is my attempt to post some pictures of my latest pages. I have TONS of summer paper, stickers, etc. and my goal this summer is to take lots of pics at the pool and beach and scrapbook them. It seems it has been forever since we lived at the beach therefore I have no beach pages...well, things will change this summer. I plan to spend some time in GShores with my cousin and a week in Port St. Joe should bring lots of great pics. I also want to get better at doing one or two page layouts. I tend to put tons of photos on a page to show a month or event. I have a couple of one picture layouts and if this works, I'll post those, as well.

Little Sister

Beth and I had a great night out tonight. We were supposed to go see The Proposal with Sandra Bullock, but with further investigation the movie comes out JUNE 19th not May 19th, so we settled for wedding errands and dinner instead. Mom was so sweet to babysit Peyton for me to do this since E is in Bham. We had the best time at O Charlies. We ate, drank, ate, and had smores dessert! It was funny to compare memories we both had as kids and how different they were. We remembered some things the same and some things one of us didn't remember at all. In general, we decided we had a pretty awesome childhood etc. We also compared notes on old boyfriends, people who had spread rumors, rumors spread, and college experiences. It was so fun to spend this time with just my little sister...who is not so little anymore since she is getting married in 4 days!
